Hershey Technologies Wins Multiple Government Contracts


Government clients to benefit from powerful eForm technology portfolio.

 

La Jolla, CA - August 31, 2004 Hershey Technologies, a leading technology solutions provider, today announced three significant new government contracts that share a common interest in obtaining electronic form processing products and web content management services. Hershey has received orders totaling over $750,000 from the University of California San Diego, California State Department of Mental Health, and the Department of Labor and Immigration from the Commonwealth of Northern Marina Islands.

Hershey’s new clients will take advantage of our company developed ImageNet content management product that provides the ability to digitally capture and archive hardcopy documents as well as, electronic forms. Hershey Technologies solution provided clients with over sixty (60) units of Fujitsu desktop duplex color scanners to convert hardcopy documents to enable processing of vital records. Verity’s LiquidOffice 3.0 software including usage of LiquidOffice Advanced Business Process Management (graphical workflow designer) was deployed to expand their clients organization’s business process automation capabilities through its ability to create, deploy and automatically manage the routing, tracking of approval processes for electronically generated WEB forms.

Using the Verity’s Liquid Office API, Hershey was able to build a new client adapter to its ImageNet Flexport which provides an XML-based web service for remotely exporting captured content files and metadata to a wide variety of backend systems including Documentum’s Records Manager that will be used for the University of California in San Diego.
