With a beveled edge scanner, pages are able to lie flat for optimal scanning across the entire page. Scanned images can easily be converted to PDF, Word, or Excel and emailed or saved directly from the device using an intuitutive self-serve touch screen. BookScan Station preserves and protects books and other high value bound material, scans easily and accurately, and stores digital copies without the need for paper.

 

• PATENTED BOOK-EDGE DESIGN:
  Patented scanner design allows the book page to lie flat on the glass, thus capturing the full image of the page without distortion. The design protects the spine of the binding from damage, extending the book’s life.
• PDF SCANNER:
  Scan books and documents into PDF, text-searchable PDF, Word and Excel files. Searchable PDF files allow patrons to search on any word in the PDF file. Word and Excel files are editable.
• PDF CONVERSION:
  Convert PDF files saved to USB drive into editable Word and Excel files. Similarly, convert Word and Excel files into PDF files. Email, print, search, retrieve and edit files saved to USB drive when transferred to PC.
• SCAN-TO-USB AND OTHER DESTINATIONS:
  Save scanned files to two front panel high speed USB ports. When connected to the internet, the BookScan Station can scan and email books and documents as PDF, Word and Excel files. When connected to a printer, the BookScan Station can scan-to-print.
• PAPER FREE, SAVE A TREE:
  It’s good to be GREEN, Digital copies can be referenced repeatedly and shared with others while preserving our forests.
• TOUCHSCREEN PC:
  Easy-to-use instructions guide the user through the scanning process including setting options for file formats, DPI resolution, black and white or color, and file names.
• PURCHASE OPTIONS:
  The BookScan Station is available as a purchase or lease. We also offer a revenue sharing option through the Touchscreen PC’s integrated debit Card Reader.
