SharePoint Deployment Planning Services (SDPS) is a Microsoft Software Assurance benefit, designed to help your organization plan an effective deployment of Microsoft SharePoint. SDPS includes a broad range of planning services – SharePoint 2010 Deployment Planning, SharePoint 2010 Upgrade Planning and SharePoint for Internet Sites Planning – that help you optimize the effectiveness of SharePoint capabilities, lower the cost of deployment, and improve the productivity of your organization.

Your SDPS consultant will guide you through a highly effective planning process using best practices for getting more out of your SharePoint investment. The number of engagement days is 1, 3, 5, 10, or 15—as determined by your Software Assurance coverage.

SDPS provides your company with a collaborative consulting engagement based on leading practices from Microsoft.
