Image Annotation and Bates Numbering Module for Kofax Ascent Capture
The Image Annotation and Bates Numbering Module can be used to make and identify images with copyrights by putting a company name, logo or legal copyright on them, as well as adding an auto-incrementing number, giving both protection and identification of images.

Hershey Technologies’ Annotation Module is designed to seamlessly integrate with Kofax Ascent Capture. This application is designed to easily installed  as a custom queue.  It compliant with Kofax Image Products’ standard XML backbone architecture.

Administrators and users familiar with Ascent Capture are able to create and/or edit the setup tabs. The "Highlighting Annotation" feature functions in much of the same manner as one usually sets up any of Kofax Ascent's standard queues (scan, index, OCR, etc.). Hershey's Annotation Module is extremely flexible, as it "re-samples" the canvas of each image to accommodate the annotation, to ensure that nothing on the image is overwritten. Common page processing time to annotate images equates to nearly two pages per second.
