As content is saved and indexed within the XenDocs Content Server it becomes immediately retrievable by authenticated users. XenDocs provides two types of ad-hoc content search: structured and full-text.

With structured search, users enter search conditions for specific index fields, such as an Invoice Number, SSN or Customer Name.

The search functionality within XenDocs is highly flexible. Users can choose from a wide range of search operators and combine multiple search conditions to obtain precise results. Features like date controls and drop down lists make the system easy to use for users without formal training.
